Toronto show got moved from the Opera House to the Hard Luck Bar, so from an 850 venue to about 200 capacity (though with the new venue the show's almost sold out now)

 

Probably because of the new album

 

They sold out the Los Angeles show at the El Rey, which has a capacity of 771. However, most of the bands on the tour are from Los Angeles, so it figures they'd sell out here.

 

I am excited to see letlive. at Open Air next weekend.

I honestly think the support for this tour has had a big impact on sales. I personally think the support is great but when I went the people I went with only knew of Seaheaven and they didn't even really like them.. Compared to their last 'headliner' with Architects it's no surprise this tour isn't doing as well.

 

I didn't make it to the Baltimore show but it was due to financial reasons. Was looking forward to this more than any other show this summer (aside from Thrice last month).

 

They cut Homeless Jazz and Enemies tonight.

Also they're playing Muther with only Jason and Jeff until the end which was kind of a let down

Didn't draw well at all but the crowd was into it still and they were great even though Jason mentioned he was very sick

Seahaven was good instrumentally but Kyle was messing with his vocals a lot and it didn't sound that great. They were still good though. Also played a different set kind of. They played Sleep Alone instead of Love To Burn and closed with Goodnight. Everything else was the same besides the order.

Good time overall and I'm glad I got to catch Letlive headline for my first time

 

They combined the Michigan show with a Famous Last Words show in the small room. Makes a lot of sense now.

 

ive only seen them once at warped so thats why i wanna go; i do agree that if the new album lit the world on fire these shows would be possibly selling out

 

I honestly really liked the new album. letlive. has always been about conveying a specific message and it just so happens that this was the best way to convey the message this time around.

 

Is it universally disliked? It seemed like most reviews on other sites gave it pretty good marks.

 

It got great reviews by most reviewers. It's fan reception that is divided. There's the people that argue that it's way slowed down and not beautiful chaos like other letlive. records, some of these people have also literally argued that letlive. is trying to go radio rock with this record. And then you have other people who realize that there is a change of sound but it isn't a bad change and they've still kept to their message. It's honestly quite ridiculous. As far as tones of social commentary on what's going on in the US and the world it's one of their best records in that respect in my opinion.

They even mentioned about how people were expecting something different from the album and how a lot of people don't like it. That's when you know people aren't liking it haha

I like it though

 

Kyle always messes around for whatever reason with his voice. It drives me crazy. I wish they'd play a heavier Winter Forever set, those Reverie tracks are so boring to see live, but whenever they play the older stuff the crowd is really into it. Weird that they enjoy playing Sleep Alone so much - I have seen them play it as well, I'm confused why it didn't make the last album since it seems to be a song they really feel good about. Oh well.

I'm going this Saturday, I'm pretty excited to see a letlive. headliner, but it is alarming to hear that Jason is very sick. He was sick when they did the tour with the Wonder Years, too, and hearing about his history, is his sickness just a cold, or when he says "I'm very sick", does it mean something pretty big?

 

Yeah I realized this last night. Pretty sure it's something pretty big because he always mentions the govt not helping him get better and how he can't afford to get better.

 

Ugh, didn't know this. I hate that band. Which room is it in now? Can't find any details online.

 

It's in both the Crofoot and the Pike Room. The letlive tour is in the former, the Famous Last Words tour is in the latter.

 

any rough estimates on set times? like when would ll go on if the show starts at 7?

 

does anyone know if Night Verses are selling Into the Vanishing Light vinyl at their table?

 

I love it, but I'm a huge mark for this band so I dunno if my opinion counts.

yeah i like the album the more i listen. It isn't as fun as the other two but not bad; I like that they are playing only 4 on the tour.

This makes me sad. I hope they can bounce back on their next tour
