Great premiere. Imagine someone flipping through channels and stumbling upon a dance-off between Dan Stevens, Jermaine Clement, and Aubrey Plaza with no context whatsoever lol.

 

I know practically nothing about this show, you’ve convinced me

 

That was fun. Did NOT expect any less though. Fantastic. Did rose Vermilion's remind anyone of Glados from Portal though?! Hahaha.

 

What a fucking great show

 

Been trying to watch this for the last half hour on the FXNow app and it’s been in a buffer pinwheel the whole time.

 

FXNow is a garbage app. I can't sit through the same three commercials every couple minutes. I would just bite the bullet and buy the season on amazon or itunes

 

As that’s not a financially viable option and I’ll otherwise be able to watch the rest of the season live. I’ll just have to suffer.

 

Excellent premiere. Would watch a whole season of dance offs.

I’m 10 minutes into this episode and the set design and world building has massively improved on an already strong foundation

i’m guessing the “this thing” that kills everyone is david after killing farouk, right? the way future syd was saying “you’re like your old self and sweet” seemed kinda telling. plus i could see them using farouk as the only thing that could slow down evil david.

Aubrey Plaza has a very nice singing voice

 

Nerdy tangent here: It’s weird to me that out of everybody in this amazing cast, Hamish Linklater gets an ‘With’ credit, along with Jean Smart (whose ‘With’ credit makes total sense). Dude’s a great actor but his biggest credit is 88 episodes of The New Adventures of Old Christine. Must have a great agent.
