    Never heard of either actually.

I just felt like this film was trying WAY to hard and it just didn't work. I thought Bobby Moynihan was the best character in this and even his was way too much.

I just didn't think any of this was funny at all but maybe that's because I'm not a fan of SNL either. Also I don't understand why films today always have to have drug scenes/references but again maybe that's just me too.

30 Rock is the closest I can get to appreciating SNL humor and even that I feel is more offbeat than the rest. None of the rest do I find funny but 30 Rock is pretty decent.

definitely never understood how shows like 30 Rock or The Office or Parks and Rec were funny at all

The Untouchables is cool. I definitely like it more than Carrie and Mission: Impossible.

Duly noted. I've seen MI and it's a great take on an action film. I watched Sisters and hated it at the time. Might need to revisit it tho. I'll check out The Untouchables. Thank you for your help.

Scarface is iconic although I don't love it myself. Carrie is a safe bet. the Untouchables as well, and the aforementioned Sisters and blow out are fun if you like Hitchcock.

Blow Out is probably his best film. Carlito's Way is fun.

Y'know, I totally forgot he made Scarface when I was just thinking about Depalma.

I've just become aware of this Stuckmann character and I don't like it. I also spent a portion of my day looking at Best/Supporting Actor/Actress nominees of the past 30 or so years and am baffled at how many of those movies I've never even heard of

Have you watched him? I actually posted him on the previous page. Not sure what the problem is though

Chris Stuckmann is the simple answer for people who think arts criticism is easy and that professional critics are useless.

Unfair post that doesn't answer my question and is harshly judgmental. Who are these professional critics? I'm willing to read from them, but not if you just make assumptions.

It was supposed to be judgmental? I am judging something.

Professional critics work for newspapers, magazines, and respected websites.

Yeah, you're judging people? I think it's rude. That doesn't describe me at all.
