I've never seen cars 2...yeah bugs life is solid. I just think brave is far too simple for a Pixar movie. I had higher hopes for the Irish

It's not even bad, they just cold already fly much higher. Visually, story wise, humor, it just wasn't up to the first two Toy Story movies or Monsters Inc. which surrounded it. I do like it though

I haven't seen Toy Story 2 in a long time and probably only saw it a couple times anyway, but I don't remember looking it nearly as much as 1. Maybe because I was older when it came out

It's the least outstanding of the trilogy, but it's fantastic and heartbreaking. Definitely worth revisiting

Close-Up is an intriguing premise and a cool artifact, but a bit dull/static as a movie. I definitely didn't like is as much as the two other Kiarostami films I've seen

It's very easily my least favorite of the 7 I've seen and the only one I didn't absolutely love. I feel like I owe it another viewing, because it was my second of his like 3 years ago.

Taste of Cherry and The Wind Will Carry Us are also slow moving and take their time unfolding, but are gorgeous and cinematic, too. Close-Up not so much

Bells Are Ringing is a B musical and B+ comedy, but Judy Holliday was a treasure and it's a total showcase for her. She and Dean Martin have some serious charm together, too, and Vincente Minnelli knew how to compose for widescreen like few other directors of his era

Eyes Without a Face is all kinds of spooky. It gets extra mileage out of not being desperate to be a traditional horror movie. Feels more akin to gothic literature than a creature feature. Some of the best cinematography I think I've ever seen in a horror movie

it's a classic. got some surprisingly squicky shots for its age too.

    “The greatest teacher, failure is”

Guys i really need a good introspective/interpersonal/self-exploration/movie to watch. I haven't seen like any movies nothing is off the table. Into The Wild, Garden State, Goodwill Hunting, basically any Robin Williams movie, Whiplash, Ferris Buellers Day Off, Shawshank are some of my favorite movies. Not feeling action right now. any help?

Edit: I meant intrapersonal. got autocorrected

    Zootopia - 7/10

It was missing something. Really awesome messages throughout the film, I mean really really really strong great lessons to teach kids (and adults)...but....it was still missing something. I was kinda bored throughout the movie. The humor was very spotty and honestly other than the otter scene (as seen in the trailers) there wasn't anything that really made me crack up. I had high hopes for this one, but it wasn't nearly as funny as Lego Movie and it wasn't really as touching or thought provoking as a great pixar movie. It's a shame too because the ideology behind the movie was brilliant.
