So many unforced errors, her publicists must be shitting themselves. Even the fucking album title references a right-wing conspiracy theory which is just incredible.

 

Can someone just like change her instagram password and "forget" what it is or something?

 

Song is fine. I'm sure this album will have a few songs I'll add to my LDR playlist but she's got to shake it up one of these days.

I’ll post if I find the audio but apparently her interview with Annie Mac she did before the video premiered was...bad. I guess she sounded really unstable and not okay, going off about politics and other things, swearing a bunch, talking about racism, and Annie had to keep trying to change the subject. People who heard the interview say it was bad.

song is uneventful and completely expected. She's gotta be one of the most predictable artists out there these days, I think everyone basically knew what this would sound like before pressing play. NFR at least took a few risks, but this is right back to the same ol games

 

PLUS is she fucking stupid to wear the mask in this video that she was cirtisized for, and show it close up enough that it's VERY obvious there is no "plastic" between the mask and her face, proving she lied about that (as everyone already knew)

 

I don't know if this has already been said, but this is one of the dumbest album titles I've seen in a longtime

 

I just listened to the interview. She doesn't really sound out of it to me except for like giggling a lot. To me it sounds more like she wants so badly to be seen as some kind of genius societal commentator that she just ends up rambling on about things no one was really asking her about in the first place, and then digs herself deeper in places she should've just apologized and shut up.

I'm still looking forward to the album, but based on what we've heard and the shadow she's now cast over it, I'll be surprised if it's not my least favorite thing she's done. I like to believe there's a decent person in there, but she needs to start learning to take constructive criticism instead of constantly playing the victim because she's just... not. Even in the interview she was thanking Annie for "still playing singer-songwriter music", as if she has ever once had trouble finding someone to premiere one of your songs. It's all just very exhausting
