Oh yeah Frank's mic def sounded louder or clearer to me. I'll chalk it up to weird sound issues or maybe just me. I was wearing my earplugs but if anything that usually helps me hear the vocals a bit clearer over the noise

 

Seeing them tomorrow. Arguably more excited for Pinkshift but this show is gonna be a ripper.

Anthony was definitely loud when I saw them, as well as Frank's mic was way up too, but he sounded like he may have not hear himself too well though. Great energy all in all

 

Both of the newer songs have multiple moments that are really rad. Then some stuff that sounds like it could have used some time congeal.

kinda awesome cuz it’s almost stream of conscious with the write:record in a long weekend. But also leaves me wanting another record with much longer studio time.

 

Almost the first thing I did after I woke up was play this song on headphones, ccause I had it queued after 2AM, but had to deal with other things and fell asleep ;d it sounds massive, I love the chorus and most of the vocal harmonies in the song are just pure gold, that droney outro too

Hey that kinda reminds me of one of his earlier projects in his career..

 

Beautiful song though. I love him channeling a bit of Thom Yorke there in a few places.

 

Sounds so much like something off Amulet. And so different from everything else they've put out.

This is a very interesting debate. I’m not quite sure how to feel about it yet but I did enjoy reading the different viewpoints.

 

using AI art is bone headed and dumb for a myriad of reasons but its also not something to like relentlessly attack them over. there is some insightful criticism but there's a lot of piling on

 

It's also just a fucking music video. No reason for people to lose their minds over it.

 

I’d be a lot less annoyed if the debates came after the full video. It sounds like contextually this approach made sense artistically. Maybe I’m reading into it wrong.

 

Death, taxes, and people online being unreasonably upset at people they don't actually know.

 

Anyway that song is really good!

 

I don't know, the response to the criticism isn't great. And they're smart enough to know they'll never win a war with the MCRmy lol.

But yeah, that song might actually be their best yet. And it's a very silly thing to really be too upset about.
