Killer lineup. I'm bummed I missed seeing Spiritbox open for Limp at their Lolla aftershow in 2021, but they've blow up since then. Would love to catch them at Tinley Park.

 

Cool and all, especially for Spiritbox, but album?

 

Not to get people's hopes up but it's late enough in the year they could well be putting out another record before then, especially with no tour dates from now until July.

 

Got tix for Tinley Park. This will be my wife's first time seeing any of these bands and I am very excited for her.

 

Head confirms they're in the songwriting phase for a new record

 

I saw this thread and I am really excited to see Korn live for the 3rd time in a couple of weeks time in London at Gunnersbury Park which is Korn's first UK headline show in 7 years and also has been sold out for months in advance and its gonna be Korn's biggest ever headline show in the UK because it holds 25 to 30,000 people I believe! The first time I saw Korn live was at a 3000 cap venue in Birmingham with Flyleaf supporting and the 2nd time was their co headline uk arena show with Limp Bizkit plus Madball opening!!

 

I know people hold those first three-four albums in high regard (as do I), but I've also heard this along with the last one (The Nothing) might actually be their best - any truth to that? How about The Serenity of Suffering and The Paradigm Shift? Curious which ones are really worth giving a spin.

 

The last two are very good

suffering and paradigm have some good on it - I lean towards paradigm shift more

 

I definitely recommend checking out the past 3 Brian Head Welch come back albums but The Paradigm Shift is the first Head comeback album and it's good, The Serenity of Suffering is them coming into their own again as a band sound wise and The Nothing is absolutely brilliant and it's definitely up there with the classic first 4 Korn albums for me!!

But check out those 3 post Head comeback albums in order of release.

Personally, I lean the other way. Paradigm never gelled completely for me, but Serenity felt like they buckled down and made an album with a capital ALBUM.

 

100% agree with this, I think Korn touring on the Paradigm Shift album cycle definitely gave them the confidence the go into the studio to make The Serenity of Suffering and it showed in the final product. I am intrigued what the next album will sound like? An continuation of Requiem or something different all together

 

One thing I like about Korn is that they aren't afraid to play with their sound. Sometimes it results in a Path Of Totality, but I feel like even the failed experiments still produce interesting results.

 

Yeah true and fair play to them for taking chances over the years though.
