This all sucks for her, but also it's just all more Dr Luke music so I feel less bad, is that rude? Maybe.

Seems to be the confirmation Dr. Luke shifted his focus on regaining his mainstream place through his current hip-hop productions and he and his minions are happily getting rid of her in the process. None of this is surprising and considering how proud she was to be working with him, I really don't feel bad for her. She really didn't see any of that coming?

 

The infighting going on in her (old?) team looks messy. I'm imagining an alternate timeline where she didn't associate herself with any of them and would've been the non-problematic popstar she seemed destined to be back in 2017, or at least before her connection to Dr. Luke was found out...

I feel bad for any artist that has an album shelved or is forever in that weird limbo Kim is dealing with. It has to be incredibly frustrating to be constantly waiting and waiting.

 

I've listened to a bit more than half of the leaked auburn so far and while I totally support an artists artistic vision... I also understand why the label wouldn't want to release this... The songs are... fine, but I really don't think anything here is going to do anything for her career outside her existing fanbase

 

As a follow up, I guess the thing that would change it is artists like Nicki and Latto backing up dump trucks full of money to Dr. Luke’s door and him forgetting all about Kim.

 

I feel like this is what is already happening, hence her suddenly having multiple albums shelved even though she seemed to be having momentum not even that long ago
