I’m so jealous people got to see this setlist

 

Oh whoa. I knew it was billed as songs from across his career but did not expect a chronological run. Assumed it would be more of a greatest hits set!

 

That set very much feels like the end of phase 1 of his career before the new album starts phase 2

 

He better play families ties forever now

 

God damn Sing About Me as an encore would make me lose my mind

Wouldn’t be shocked if Kendrick *debuted* a new song during halftime show.

 

Rumor is all of the performers are dropping albums this year, including Dre. Mary J Blige and Snoop already announced theirs and there have been heavy rumors of an Em album for a few weeks, and it seems pretty likely Kendrick's album is done. Dre dropping would be awesome though

 

Day or two before, the way Beyonce dropped “Formation”, would be my guess if he were to do it. You’ve gotta be REALLY confident in that song though, his part of the the medley has to basically be one original song already.
