That's what I call them too, but I feel like I have to specify or sometimes people get confused. Dallas and their stupid renaming of venues. (probably not just Dallas)

edit: I still call The Door, The Gypsy Tea Room half the time. Starplex... Next Stage...

"Last lp i tried to lift the black artist but there's a big difference between black artist and wack artist" is SUCH a Kanye line and I love it

    Got a light?

The line itself and how the beat cut out as he said it reminded me exactly of Kanye when I first heard it too

Lmao Toronto market for big shows is so fucking awful. I've basically given up on going to these shows. If it really matters I just suck it up to Stub Hub prices later on.

So I ended up buying an upper level in Brooklyn for $150 and then out of curiosity went to see if the lower level VIP was still around......ended up getting that too. So now I have an upper level in Brooklyn to sell if anyone is interested

i was just looking at the "seat map" of the ACC, and straight up half the stadium is already up for sale from "Verified reseller's". so fucking stupid.

I'm all for a no resale policy . Credit card / ID required to get in. IMO a longer line to get in , and being screwed if you can't make the show >>>>>> real fans not being able to go at all without paying double or triple.

I know that festivals get a lot of shit, for many reasons, but I paid $400 for the entire weekend, got to be literally 30ish feet from Kendrick, come within inches of high fiving him during the set, and see a ton of other bands in the process. I know it's not for everyone, but I would rather have done that over the weekend than pay $150 to see him from the back row of a stadium

Yeah there's a strong case to be made for festivals being a much better way to see A level headliner artists.

I'll write you into all of my songs Supporter

Yeah I'm really excited to see all the headliners at Bonnaroo, and my tixs were only $325. Considering how much I would have been spending if I saw them individually it's easily worth the $$. Sucks that the markets being way too over saturated and there are so many package deals for the artists (which is good for them but not great for the consumer)

Our tickets to see him in Brooklyn were ridiculously expensive. $175 a piece and we're still in the 200 level.

After listening 100 times my favorites are:
XXX, DNA, YAH, ELEMENT, LOYALTY, LOVE

I wanna throw GOD and DUCKWORTH in here too but then it's less of a favorites list and practically just the whole album lol its so hard to narrow it down.

Maybe I'm the only one here, but I've grown to truly appreciate every song on here besides DUCKWORTH. I don't care much about the story, but then again, Kendrick frequently loses me somewhere in the middle. When he switches his flow at "So many relatives telling us, selling us, devilish works" might be the most "forced" part of the song, if that makes sense. It feels like the only song on here Kendrick is trying really hard to make "a Kendrick Lamar song"

I also appreciate that this is a story that relies on that line "Life is one funny motherfucker" and calls back to the "I'll probably die" refrain in FEAR, but I also just don't really care about Top Dawg's come-up story and kinda makes me dislike him as a person even more because he could have killed Kendrick's dad. Maybe this isn't the right perspective to have, but... idk

Top Dawg definitely seems like a shitty dude and I wish Kendrick would work with someone better. But....Loyalty...so
