    I can't really think of any other rapper with 4 albums (I'm including S.80) this great in a row without any decline in momentum.

    Anyone know what the lyrics are in the sample after the beat switches up on DNA? "Gimme some ganja?" or perhaps..."Gimme some nachos?"

    Was stupid of me to question the U2 feature. Their contribution to XXX is perfect. Man I love this record.

    TCD->LR->G->808->MBDTF->Yeezus

  8. Yeah I was gonna say 808s through TLOP if you make me pick a four-album stretch

    the "momentum" part is what made me sort of discount kanye, a lot of people consider it a dropoff and he dropped in popularity at that time

    personally i would consider it but that question made it seem like it wasn't just about me. felt like looking at the global perspective instead

  14. Other acceptable answers are MBDTF and TPAB. You say anything else and you're kidding yourself imo.

    I'm way too lazy to try and figure out what my favorite hip hop album of the decade would be but I will say that Yeezus was my favorite hip hop TOUR of the decade

    Section.80 is extremely valid as an option IMO

    Quality wise he didn't drop at all, all those albums are great.

    I feel like he definitely lost momentum popularity wise though

    MBDTF is my favorite hip hop album honestly. It's the reason I even got back into the genre after not paying attention to it for a while

    I was fortunate enough to see the wall after MBDTF and the Yeezus tour completely blew it out of the water

    Popularity-wise how did he lose momentum? Is he still not one of the biggest names in music overall? He's transcended the hip hop genre like 8 times

    I feel like our nostalgia goggles are broken and we all forgot Kanye was still going to be playing arenas with Gaga after 808s

    Yea MBDTF is not just one of the best hip hop albums of the decade, it's one of the best hip hop albums of all time, and not just one of the best hip hop albums of all time, but one of the best albums of all time period. It's an incredible experience front to back.
