This feels almost like an insult to all the fans of his music to me, like "I can make a song where my only lyrics are 'Poopy-di scoop' and y'all will still buy it for $1.29 on iTunes/stream it millions of times"... like he's testing how little effort he can put in and still get people to eat it up.

 

I mean, its evident how this era is not going over well sales wise. He isn't exactly heating up the charts.

Ok finally got to listen to these after being out for the weekend, and holy shit they're bad. Like everything from production to him. I get that Lift Yourself is like a joke but still released as a single? And then Ye Vs The People feels like he really thinks that's his serious album song, and that's really bad if so.

 

We might not have sales figures, but you're kidding yourself if you think the hype machine for this record after these songs got posted is on the upswing.

 

Whatever, let ye half ass music and focus on making clothes I'll never buy in my life, I have his old albums I'll be fine

 

There was about a zero percent chance that Cudi was going to say something to piss off Kanye since they have an album coming out. Still, too bad.

Kanye peaked with Late Registration anyway. He came back up for MBDTF but otherwise it's all been a slow decline.

 

I’ll wait for an actual song from the album before I pass judgement. These are both obvious throwaways.

808s is his best and most important work

 

I rank 808s near the bottom but I get why people love it.

 

808s is probably my favorite front to back, MBDTF is his opus though.
