All these tweets read like it’s all about getting promotion and people taking and, for lack of a better word, a press gimmick. I find that pretty fucking gross.

 

In a long succession of bad takes on this forum this is by far the worst take, what sort of galaxy brain shit do you need to be on to even GET TO that from where it began as an innocuous statement? Dude who wrote that needs to log off imo.

 

It's what it's felt like for awhile, especially dropping the candace parker tweet after his controversy one.


It's not acceptable at all still, and he knew what he was doing.

 

I mean, it's moronic, but also horrifying.

1. This person thinks any kind of disapproval means they want to straight up murder people who disagree.
2. This person thinks it's okay for Kanye West to use his megaphone to support alt-right ideologies and therefore promote ideas like racism/white supremacy.

Looking at those two points side by side is scary.

 

why the hell wouldn't people want artists whose music they consume and existence they appreciate to not be cosying up to an online hate-mob? jesus fucking christ

 

I got a chuckle out of Kanye talking about Mob mentality in regards to trump, only to be told by the various trump supporters that no, he doesn't love Hillary.... the same ones screeching praise turned so fast.
