So most know my feelings here. We’ve had heated conversations over this. My favorite artist ever. ye still hit me in a way all of his past stuff has, I truly love that record. And I wouldn’t be surprised if YANDHI does the same. I will listen, in some capacity (re:illegally)

However. I think I’ve also reached the point where I can no longer support him financially. Buying music and tickets is probably out of the question from here on out.

He would literally have to use the SNL stage to denounce every single one of these individuals he has propped up. That includes pissing on that stupid red hat mid performance.

Gonna be a supremely shitty weekend with the Kavanaugh vote tomorrow and Kanye appearing on SNL/releasing his latest album that features a song about a woman’s worth being based on the elasticity of their vagina.

So many people that I appreciate and have considered decent people are Pro-XXX. It's gotten to the point where I can't even get upset about it because then I'm upset with everyone. Like, Daniel Caesar posted about a XXX vigil on Instagram and he's someone I'd otherwise consider a stand-up dude. Everything around XXX is so bizarre.

If people don't want art to be used to explain an example of how an artist is a bad person, it shouldn't be used to show that they're good. Art is expression but it's also a projection of what an artist wants us to see.

 

I mean, XXX was about to be all over everyone’s album regardless of what happened. He was right on the brink of being featured everywhere and now it’s happening.

 

I wish these rappers were giving Mac Miller the posthumous love he deserves instead

 

The mourning of XXXTENTACION shows just how influential teenage social media activity really is. It's depressing how many abusive people are influential amongst the youth and are held up by them.

 

Logic has a nice tribute to him on the title track of his new album.

idk, i saw some stuff the victim was saying after xxx passed that really made me second guess coming down so hard on everyone that was sad he died. its still fuck xxx but fuck everyone who says anything positive about xxx isnt really the move. because that includes the victim.
