How about having an actual discussion with someone instead of telling them to shut the fuck up? You're just pushing them away and they won't ever understand where you're coming from. Or continue to act better/smarter than everyone. That'll get you far.

EDIT: and it is an issue. Just because you disagree with someone doesn't mean you can treat them with disrespect.

 

Fuck me you complain about your posts being moderated a lot. If a post is reported the mods will look at it. Your post was reported, that's why action was taken.

 

We can spend all day talking about where Kanye is coming from, what he means by certain statements, what his vision for everything is and why he's saying what he's saying.

In the end, it doesn't change what he's promoting and that's what's got us taking the stances we are.

 

There's no reason to support Trump that isn't problematic

 

I'm disappointed in him but I have to say I fully expected him to endorse Trump one day considering it's the 2016 Kanye

 

Will people still defend this guy after this? I've always been surprised the support Kanye gets after ridiculous things he does... It'll be interesting to see if this will finally be a line

 

there are people who still support r kelly and roman polanski, who are literally child rapists, so yes people will still support kanye

 

A lot of what Kanye has said in the past has had a lot of truth behind it and hasn't warranted the backlash he's gotten. Lately that hasn't been the case.

I'm definitely still reading different opinions to sort of get more of a firmer grasp about the situation but I'm leaning towards being fine

 

They defended him after the Cosby tweet, which is where I made clear I was done with him, although I was beforehand (the Amber Rose and Kylie/Tyga comments, I thought were abysmal). Look at how this forum acted with the whole T-Swift drama a while back.

 

My ties of support, vocally and monetarily, were severed earlier this year but I will still listen to his catalog

 

Can't say I'm all that mad, probably because I'm not surprised at all. He's proven this year to be a pretty bad person, I'll still listen to him but I don't even listen to him that much anyway, mostly because this album still conjures up literal nightmarish memories for me so

 

Yeah I know he's troubled and stuff but I really do think some of his opinions are guided by racial forces I don't truly understand as a white guy (such as the Cosby thing). Willing to give him much more benefit than if he was white, and at least he hasn't done any truly despicable actions yet

 

Maybe I am blind, or I can't read, but I am seeing reports that he isad "I didn't vote, but if I did it would have been for Trump" is that true? I don't see that particular thought above
