This is interminable. I’ve tried four separate times to pick up where I left off and still haven’t finished. That “Moon” song is a keeper though.

I’ve already chopped it up to a 50 min track list

I listened to this whole album. It was better than I expected (which isn't saying much) but I doubt I'll return to it because of Kanye's past and recent bullshit.

I think this might be his best album since Yeezus, which makes what he's become even more painful

There's just no god damn reason to have a 27 song album.

Some songs go on for too long.. which makes it feel like there is somehow 47 tracks.

The same reason so many hip hop artists inflate their tracklists....to boost streaming numbers.

Since this is a digital only release (at least for now), him and the label definitely wanted to beef up the number of tracks to help with "sales figures."

If you gonna edit the cursing, why even write lyrics with cursing in it to begin with? It's your album! You're the one who wrote the lyrics! (presumably)

Fuck Kanye but Jesus Lord is probably the best song I've heard him put out wince Yeezus. Gessefalstein and Swizz Beats did an amazing job on that beat.

I gotta say soulja boy has spent the whole last day tweeting about how he hates Kanye for leaving him off the album and it’s really funny tbh

yeah this is his best since yeezus. idk why i keep listening to it, it sure doesn't make me feel good about myself lol (and i will never, ever listen to the "pt 2" tracks, doesn't seem worth it). but it does remind me pretty often of why i ever enjoyed kanye as a musician and auteur

i hope he's on some path to reckoning with all the mistakes he's made over the past few years but he lives in such a protected atmosphere full of enablers that i kind of doubt it

Ok, just got to Jail Pt2...what the fuck is this Dababy verse? He's claiming him getting dropped from fests is taking food off his daughters tables?! Seriously, he's complete trash.

there's no way in hell this is better than Pablo, that's insane and straight up wrong. "Ultra Light Beam" as a singular song is better than this entire 2 hour album, don't be ridiclous

Pablo is Ye's last good album. There are glimmers of greatness on Donda, but man....it's not it.

  19. In order for this to be...genuinely enjoyable...he would need to make "Jesus Lord pt. 2" the album version, cut the rest of the bonus tracks, reinstate the lost Push and Cudi verses, cut at least four more songs, and apologize for DaBaby/Manson shit. Which will never ever happen. Also wouldn't hurt to fix the artwork.

I did like a lot of these songs prior to that third listening event, and the songs themselves haven't really changed, but it's tough for me to stomach this and I don't particularly feel a need to based on dude's actions (not to mention how bloated it is), so...it's whatever. He's making his money, wish he would just disappear again. Any remaining good vibes attached to this project died for me last week.

This album suuuucks. Like I expected at least some decent songs but the only parts I “liked” was the beginning of God Breathed where it seems like it’s gonna throw down but instead it drags on and the “I am the globglogabgalab!” 5 second outro on Remote Control. The rest I had to fast forward through to wade through the murk.

  22. mans just brought Manson out with him LMAOO fuck this album

I’ve seen a few “Fuck Kanye, but…” takes on here. It’s “fuck Kanye” and that’s it. You listen to this, you’re supporting him. And that’s a really fucking shitty thing to do.

  24. We gonna do this again huh

Anyways, the Soulja Boy stuff would be funnier if he wasn't tweeting about/at Kim and making fun of dude's bipolar. Your verse was ass and you made a song about Rick and Morty lol let it go my guy
