Kanye having allegiance to Dababy because he said he would vote for him is some real high school student council energy.

I mean this is pretty good so far. Turnstile is an incredible album. Don’t know how you can compare the two.

Through 9 tracks “Jail”, “Jonah”, “Hurricane” and “Junya” are pretty big highlights. A lot of the other stuff is good but overstays it’s welcome considerably. “God Breathed” and “Off the Grid” could be cut in half easily.

CHVRCHES album is fire too and doesn't feature any pieces of shit.

I still am not feeling this version of Hurricane. OG was better.

I don’t think anyone is comparing them, people are just pointing out that other albums that don’t feature pieces of shit on the album and aren’t released by someone who constantly platforms such people are out this week and could use the support over this album. In a week where Turnstile, Indigo De Souza, Halsey, and others (I know, not the same genre but still) put out good/great albums, it sucks when someone who keeps showing their ass is getting a lot of that attention.

I get that but at least on this site I don’t think Kanye is taking listeners away from those albums.

Skimmed through this pretty quickly and can safely say none of these songs have any business being longer than 3 minutes, let alone multiple parts lmao

The guitar based tracks are clearly the high point so far. “Moon” is great.

    “Remote Control” is terrible.

When Kanye leans on guitar, soul and those Graduation style synths this album takes off, especially from “24” onward (minus “Remote Control”). The front half is bogged down by overlong posse cuts.

“New Again” is pure Graduation bliss.

The tracking here reminds me of how I felt about Whole Lotta Red. First 10 tracks are hot/cold and then it really takes off.
