I'm liking it more on a second listen but it's an extremely weird choice for a single

 

Might not even be the single if there’s 3 more songs released in the next month

 

I definitely don’t hate it, get a “sexyback” vibe from it because of that sample

He always finds a way to keep it interesting, especially with the first song released.

 

I'm just really hoping I like this more (a lot more) with more spins

 

Just finished my first listen to Filthy. I don’t love it, but I also didn’t love Suit and Tie when I heard that for the first time, so I’m still optimistic.

 

Crazy little song, are we sure Pharrell didn't work on this one? "Haters gonna say its fake" sounds SO much like him/something he would do.

I'm not huge on the song, but it's a great shock single, it's gonna get people talking... a LOT, and there will be a ton of articles tomorrow. It's the slightly less extreme version of Look What You Made Me Do, it's a smart first song release for sure

 

Some of the early think pieces sure look dumb.

 

First listen was unsure. Second listen, this fuckin bangs

 

I'm hyped for the rest of the album. I dig this. He really never releases the same album twice.

 

Who would have guessed that it’d be dumb to write about music that isn’t even released yet?

Few more listens down and yeah this is an absolute bop

 

This track is fire. Can’t wait for reactionary internet to eat collective crow.

 

Super weird/unexpected but I think I love it. That video is awesome.

 

Also Mark Romanek has been and always will be the man.

His cadence at the beginning is 100% like Pharrell.

 

“Deliverance” is a perfect marriage of bluegrass, folk and hip-hop. And despite his limitations, Bubba was on-point throughout the album.
