This is basically me right now with some random project lol.

 

One time I plugged an HDMI cable into a TV to display my monitor on it and everyone was impressed

My mom frequently asks me questions about her phone or tv or whatever and I always tell her “I don’t know the answer either, but I know how to find the answer”

 

My father is better at technology yet my mom will reach out to either my sister or me when she has a problem. Like he's right there and we're not.

 

I just figure it out for her it's easier

my sister got my parents a smart outlet and an Alexa portal thingy so they can turn the lights on by saying hey alexa turn on the lights but like for whatever reason it takes them like 6 tries to get it right and they will stand NEXT TO the lamp and yell at alexa to turn the lights on instead of just turning the switch on the lamp and it is next level infuriating.

 

My grandparents are surprisingly tech friendly. Some of their kids got their house all kitted out so they can have Alexa turn on lights and whatnot because their mobility is not very good anymore. Kind of impressed--sure they didn't set it up, but they use it no prob.

 

my dad gets a new phone every year because they keep "breaking"

 

my dad just upgraded his iphone from the 5....to the 6.

 

You guys is it age-ist to say I really don't like most old people?
