    Well I am fortunate to have coverage through my employer, I have to pay every pay period and also pay copays when I visit doctors, also have to get referrals from my primary care doctor for any procedures/tests/etc. I don't even have vision/dental options either, medical does not include those believe it or not. Makes so much sense!

    Some plans have deductibles, meaning you have to pay a certain amount (could be hundreds or thousands of dollars) before your insurance will even kick in.

    It's a totally fucked system.
