there is almost a 0% chance this movie is good but if it entertains me i am a-ok with it and will rewatch it many times.

This tweet probably has a better storyline than the actual movie.

But seriously, I don’t have many expectations for this other than that I’m super excited about seeing the original cast together again. I already have tickets for Thursday night and really just hope it’s better than the last movie.

 

I’ve been watching the franchise over the past week or so and Jurassic World was more fun than I remembered, but we’ll see about Fallen Kingdom

Just let it die. Each movie has got worse and worse, but especially everything post #3 has been a disgrace. JP1 still best movie of all time.

Huh. Well, just read this review and didn’t realize they were circling back to the Dodgson character as the big villain. Guess I’ll be seeing a lot more of the Wayne Knight meme shortly.

I think we all know exactly what this is going to be like, just knowing it’s a “Jurassic World” movie.

It’ll be fun to see the original cast and dinosaur action. Everything else will suck, especially Chris Pratt with his dumb squat and hand move.

 

The amount of times this happens.. even Sam Neill does it once.

Like, that simple comment makes me expect this to be the worst movie I’ll see all year. And I saw Morbius.

 

My expectations were low after Fallen Kingdom, but after seeing the direction they went with Camp Cretaceous season 4 (which is supposed to be heavily tied into Dominion), I’m definitely prepared for some TROS-level fuckery. Still excited and hoping to be wrong though lol.

 

Unless they find a way to bring John Hammond back from the dead, no way this is worse than Rise of Skywalker.

 

It simply cannot be TROS level because there is nothing on the level of TLJ to tarnish

 

I was disappointed in how stupid Fallen Kingdom was after JW was mostly just competently fun, but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t entertained as hell when I let go of the idea that Jurassic Park needs to be legitimately good to be enjoyable. I can’t really imagine this is going to be dumber than Fallen Kingdom, so it’d have to be really bad for me not to like it haha.
