Apparently this issue has preview images in there that spoil the (somewhat predictable) plot point that the T-Rex fights the Giga at some point later in the movie, calling back to the prologue. Not sure why they chose to include that, but those images are already out there and I accidentally saw them.

 

My daughter will be psyched to see Bumpy from Camp Cretaceous on this

 

This got me so pumped. This movie could (likely) be completely stupid and ridiculous, but I'm going to have a great time.

 

Got my Lego T-Rex breakout today. Can’t wait to put that bad boy together

 

I'm guessing that's a Giganotosaurus at the end of the trailer

 

I mean.... that trailer makes it look pretty decent

Super pumped for this. I know it will be ridiculous but that doesn't stop my excitement whatsoever.

Also, those comments about the Giga don't bother me because I'm assuming that the movie will follow what was set up in Camp Cretaceous with forcing them into fights. The dinosaur is probably supposed to be an abused mess.

I was today years old when I learned that Sam Neil and Laura Dern have a 20 year age gap.

Dern recently commented on it and thinks it would not be appropriate today but back then it made total sense to her.

i always viewed them as peers and equals, just with different skills.

 

I'm a little confused and so I'm gonna ask an honest question. What is it that she's thinking wouldn't be appropriate today? Is it that the movie paired them together or is there something offscreen I'm not aware of?

 

It’s a short quote, but my guess is the 20 year age gap, in general.

 

Wow, I just looked it up and I am stunned that Laura Dern was 23 when she made Jurassic Park. I had no idea.

If you told me the woman in the below pic was 32 I would shrug and say yeah that seems right.

 

26, innit? Cause JP came out in 93 and she's 55 now? Or am I missing something?
