Oh yeah, I hope all the other new songs she's been playing like Red Door and Happy To Be Here end up on the record. I'd be shocked if they don't.

 

I'm kind of surprised there's no album release date yet.

 

Apparently she said her record will be "out in October" according this Reddit thread.

Yeah, she confirmed at the London gig like a month ago that she would release the album in October, so it's legit.

 

No Italy date once again. Guess I'll have to take the plane.

So I’m returning from an ultimate frisbee tournament and randomly my buddy puts on alt nation and it just so happens to be an hour dedicated to MO and their new album with a bunch of instudios. I made him stay on it. Andy started playing a Biffy Clyro cover and said it’s the song him and Juilien Baker covered together and it’ll be releasing later this year!

Someone shoot me. She is playing here in SLC on Wednesday, I procrastinated and didn't buy tickets, thinking I'd be safe to buy them day of. Well I underestimated her popularity in Utah and it sold out. She is playing at a venue called Kilby Court which is basically a garage converted into a tiny venue. I can only find two tickets available on StubHub and they are $60 a piece for a show that regularly cost $16. I am soooooo mad at myself

 

Check closer to the show, hopefully the tickets will drop in price!

 

I had a dream last night that her new album was called Personalities and had 10 tracks. I can't remember what the first single was called.

So that tells you how much ive been thinking about it.

 

That totally sounds realistic.

 

I got tickets to that show the moment they went on sale back in May, and I think it sold out within a week or two. If I were you, I'd still go to the show and they might let you pop in if they aren't over capacity. It's possible that people bought tickets and can't go, ya know? Worth a try! Hopefully you and @bedwettingcosmo can get in!

 

This is good advice. I just like spaced it, I was gonna buy tickets way early on and then life got in the way and I forgot about it. I had no idea she was this popular here, the only show I've been to at Kilby that sold out was Dustin Kensrue

 

I've been to a couple of sold out shows at Kilby, and a couple of shows that should have been sold out. (There were like 20 people there to see Matt Pryor from the Get Up Kids, yet He Is We was sold out. Very strange to me, haha.)

But yeah, I think they have a counter at the front desk that they punch every time someone new comes in to make sure they don't go over cap, so I'll cross you fingers for you that you'll be able to get in! It's also possible someone there might need to get rid of a ticket for a few bucks. I'm sure you'll be able to get in, just get there early enough to scope out the sitch.

did you see the opening band Change To Fire? that was my old band! haha

 

Tweet at Julien and then say you can give her the money for the ticket at the merch table if she can find a way to get you into the show. That sometimes works

 

i didn't get a ticket either. crazy julien and pinegrove are playing back to back nights and both sold out.

i have a pinegrove ticket and didn't wanna make the commute from provo twice in two days. really bummed im gonna miss her.
