Saw them live last weekend and they were great as usual. The crowd was completely engaged as well. Get out and see this band if any opportunity presents itself to you.

Ooh this is interesting. Very much an organic sound

 

Ben's piano riffs are always so catchy. Good tune.

 

Good song but it feels different.

 

Thank God this sounds different. It has the freshness of their first two albums. The last album definitely felt like they were being pretty repetitive and straightforward in their songwriting style and it was really pushing me away from them.

Their first two albums were so quirky and catchy in a completely different manner. They didn't necessarily sound like radio hits, but still had this infectious quality to them. I haven't enjoyed most of their recent stuff as much because they had done away with some of their originality/roots.

This is wonderful.

 

I actually think Off to the Races is my fav since the second album. Maybe Safe Travels gives it a run for its money though.

Just noticed the very prominent bassline in this song too

 

Everything Under The Sun is stellar. I really loved Time and I from the last album.

 

I’ve been trying to find one cuz I was wondering what Tommy was playing on this and I feel like I must be deaf cause I can only kind of hear it after the chorus haha.

 

Yeah so I had only listened to it in my car which disproportionately amplified the bass notes on the piano. I was surprised with my first headphone listen last night to find it's tucked away a lot more. I do think there's still bass in here though!

 

I like this one more I think. They're really going for that organic sound

finally got around to the solo album, it's quite nice! Pretty chill overall but some nice standouts

 

Solid song.
