Just got an email about a NY show but it's not loading. Maybe it was posted early for a tour announcement? Anyone see anything?

 

god damn that's the same night as Bartees Strange NY show. The pain

Apparently they're playing the self-titled, has to be some other stuff too though being how short it is.

 

With that lineup and them playing S/T I am really gonna have to try to make it

Going to be out of town and really don't want to miss or cut the trip short

in the podcast! But generally said there was less of a focus on hooks. Barry wanted the new album to be more "tense", "exciting", and wanted to branch into a different direction for him

 

I’m pretty sure Tony Thaxton drummed on their new album. I’ll try to find the Instagram post about it.

Can confidently say Cody is my favorite at this point so I'm hoping to get the same feeling of hearing that one for the first time with the new album

 

p dead even tie between Cody and s/t for me and the thought of them working with both the same producer as Cody and one of my fav drummers is pretty tantalizing
