I found a marriage story to be a little irksome. Scarlett Johansen's character makes so many annoying choices. Wait, what thread am I in?

Hildur Guonadottir’s score for this film will always be great

 

Watched it today, it was fine. Thought Phoenix was really good. A lot of story elements didn't make any sense (chased by cops for suspected murder, still gets to be on a live late night talk show that night, that talk show doesn't bother to check if a guest or anyone in the building has a gun, keep filming even as he becomes unhinged, the idea that a late night talk show actually films live) The "oh he's delusional and an unreliable POV" felt like an unnecessary addition.

I thought it looked really good and the score is fantastic.

I hope it wins all the awards so all you chumps who complain about how pointless awards shows are but still get mad about who wins can have a meltdown.

If Jojo Rabbit doesn't get nominated, I hope Joker wins all of the awards. It is the perfect movie for the deeply stupid times we live in.

I saw this post and was going to be like “uh go back five years earlier actually and it’s Gladiator” but then I looked up his filmography and blew my own mind as I said to myself out loud “holy shit no it’s Space Camp.”
