The chorus on that song just kind of annoys me.

Listening to Just Watch the Fireworks right now though and loving it. Just to get back in your good books.

It's definitely better than those four. I find "Night Drive" to be very underrated. Sonically alone, it's one of the best sounding songs in their catalog. Just gorgeous production, arrangement, and mixing on that song.

The lyrics make that song for me. Otherwise I may feel the same. But the lyrics and feel of Drugs just works so well.

I'm always right, though. It's weird. My opinion is always fact. ;)

The lyrics are what put me off Drugs or Me.

Also I'm listening to Clarity without the songs not sung by Jim and I think it actually flows better as well as just being more consistent.

We had this same discussion in the AP tbs thread that was fun.

"Drugs or Me" is also great. There is not a less-than-great song on that album. Even "Nothingwrong," which is pretty easily my favorite, is still fairly fantastic.

I don't think any of them are bad but I'm not really into those four very much. I'd say they're solid.

Drugs Or Me is cheesy lyrically but is also pretty easily one of the best JEW songs from a musical and composition standpoint

I don't remember. I'm sure my opinion was correct, as usual. LOL
Nothingwrong is probably my second least fav. But I do like it. Lyrics don't do much for me, but it's a jam.

Well, that album is pure garbage. But this isn't the place for that. So I won't say anymore.

Anyway, Jimmy Eat World has a lot of great music. None that i hate, just some I don't prefer as much. Yay JEW!

I started listening to JEW shortly after Bleed American came out, and I liked every album they've released since, I just feel that a few of them don't have staying power. I return to Bleed American and Futures all the time, and even Damage pretty frequently - I rarely feel the need to revisit either Chase This Light or Invented.

I def have my preferences. Which I won't list because it's silly. Especially since it can change depending on my mood or the time of year and such.

But generally when I jam one album, I will make my way through the whole discography.
