Was it 2008? Right after Folie a Deux came out?

Because I saw them on that run at a now defunct all-ages venue.

I want them to play a bunch of new songs from Surviving, don't get me wrong, but playing 555 fourth in the set really killed the momentum the other night lol

Don’t know how long Christian is going to keep this up (he tends to take them down), but he broke down “Bleed American” with the isolated tracks. He did one recently with Jim and they did “The Middle”. Definitely worth checking out if you’re into it.

God. JEW's tones absolutely rule across the board.

He does these live videos where he gets the stems of tracks and just plays them and goes over the songs. He’s done work with John Mayer and a lot of rappers as well. I just found out about this guy maybe three months ago from a podcast.

Also that video is only going to be up for another 8 hours or so. He only keeps them up for 24 hours.

I’d never picked out that guitar counter melody in the prechorus before. Just insane writing.

I hope someone saves that video and gets it on YouTube or something. I want to find him doing “The Middle” with Jim.

It’s funny because in “some bands” threads people are critical because fans want diverse set lists that reflects a bands history. Jimmy seems to embrace it by mixing in songs from different eras. I’m so disappointed they had to cancel their shows last year (rightfully) because I was looking forward to hearing them again.

I think it’s practically impossible for there to be a bad Jimmy set.
