I’ll try to update every so often (am aiming at updating every 5 or so votes so nothing gets lost in the shuffle) but I have a couple things going on today where I’ll be away from my phone/computer for a bit.

 

It's an odd case, since there are only three original songs. You could probably give "Disintegration" a bye and have people vote between "Closer" and "Over." I mean, let's be honest, no way anything but "Disintegration" is winning that album.

I also rarely vote for b-sides unless I strongly prefer them over the album tracks (as was the case for me with 2 of the matchups here).

I understand what you’re saying though-you hear the album tracks so many times more than b-sides typically, so it’s only natural to favor the songs you’re more familiar with, quality aside.

 

Open Bar Reception is possibly the best JEW B-Side though

 

I like this idea. @BTDandFeelingThis should we do this mini-bracket after CTL? It’d make 9 total brackets-8 LPs plus this. Maybe add a wild card bracket to get it to an even number? What do you think?

It could work, I usually try to stick with 8 because it makes for a balanced Champions Bracket, but if you don’t mind some byes 10 will work. Your call!

 

Just put "Disintegration" up against whatever the hell won the Static Prevails round for a pre-championship bout. Feel like people would much rather have a SOMST song in the championship bracket than something from Static.

One way or another we’ll do the SOMST mini-bracket after CTL wraps up :)

It’d be pretty easy to wrap that up in a day. We’ll just do a couple 12 hour rounds

Big Casino (had the hardest time with this one. the title track is incredible, but something about that opening guitar riff for Big Casino just seals it for me)

Always Be (I'm shocked that this one is so close. I thought everyone hated Firefight (I love it))

Gotta Be Somebody's Blues (one of the best songs on the album, ya'll are trippin')

Be Sensible (the band's best B-side against the weakest track on the album. easy choice.)

Dizzy (this one sucks! dizzy is the clear choice here but Here It Goes is probably the catchiest song the band has written. sucks it can't make it past the first round.)
