    Lame AF, if true

I can see Criminal Energy, not being released yet. But the others, that would be weird.

Hey now. Look at you. Way cool.

Surely they gotta put one more song out this week to build hype for the final sprint. It's a no brainer.

I can always be better, so I'll always try. Supporter

I’d be so interested to see what their first week numbers would be if Apple/Spotify decided to put them in the 1-slot in New Releases. Sure hip hop dominates streaming, but a big part of that continuing to be the case is editorial choices based on streaming analytics.

I don't know why they wouldn't. Fans can hold off if they want but getting a little extra media coverage to remind people that the album is out on Friday and to get the attention of people who missed the last single or were on the face seems like a good idea to me. Maybe we won't get one though because they've not done things in their traditional way this time around.

I always wonder how much of streaming stats are about what listeners really want and how much are about what is being put in front of them most prominently. Between high-level placements on Apple/Spotify and features on popular playlists, it seems like a lot of what happens on streaming is self-fulfilling prophecy.

I think if there was going to be another single it would have come out this past Friday. I don't think it will make a huge difference either way.

I don’t think Jimmy Eat World, going on their ninth/tenth album (depending on how you view S/T), is concerned about releasing another single to build up hype.

Criminal Energy should have been the first single.

  22. Like, with a rollout that short I expected two singles and we got them at the same time, so I wouldn't be surprised if that's it til Friday.

As good as All the Way (Stay) is, very much this tbh. I'm surprised they debuted a song live they didn't plan to release as lead single.

When the sax solo comes in on All The Way it reminds me of a sitcom tv theme/intro song. I’m not hating. I love it haha.

I think All the Way (Stay) is a better choice for a hit single, so in a way I agree that Criminal Energy should have been the first single, because the band typically pushes their second single harder and gets more success with their second single. Think of The Middle, Work and Always Be. These were all better choices for singles than the ones that preceded them (Bleed American, Pain and Big Casino) and they were more successful.
