Having Invented and Damage low on my list feels wrong, because they're both amazing albums. Damage has some of Jim's best songwriting, for sure. All post-Static Prevails JEW albums wouldn't score lower than a 9 for me, personally.

 

Might as well post my sacrilege list

Futures > Bleed American > Damage > Chase This Light > Invented > Clarity > Static Prevails

I've never heard the classic in Clarity that everyone else does, the only tracks I ever revisit are Lucky Denver Mint and For Me This Is Heaven

Also maybe I missed something but if this hasn't been announced yet why is there a thread and a release date?

 

Some retailers put up listings leaking the date and title.

 

Meh. Like I said in the other thread, I jumped on the bandwagon when Bleed American was released so the albums following impacted me more.

Is there much more to Integrity Blues so far aside from speculation?

 

exactly how I feel! Like I look at everyone's lists and I more or less get them (minus the blasphemers who put Clarity near the bottom....). Like every one of their albums is 9/10 or 10/10 honestly. Depending on the day CTL is above Futures and Bleed American for me!

 

I really like Damage, just not as much as everything else (except Static Prevails, which I only like).

I can't help but hope for a track that hits me the same way 23, Polaris, Dizzy and Invented do. I'm excited for whatever they have cooked up though.

 

I mean don't set yourself up for disappointment!

 

Haha I knew this was his ranking based from the other thread. I mean I try and be open to others opinions.... But sometimes.....

 

Haha I was gonna add that I'm not trying to set the bar too high.

 

Honestly kind of surprised at Futures being number one on so many lists, haha.

 

Futures is the only one of their records I "love" though most everything else is pretty good

 

Clarity is an ok album, it's not bad but hard to put it above any others

 

It's a great album, but in context with the rest of their discography, it's not quite on par.

 

Don't make me excommunicate you.

 

The band, is good. But the thread, is very very bad.
