Can't believe it's been like a year since I first heard this. Feels like maybe six months.

Complete opposite for me, this album is so comforting I feel it's been with me for years

Yep, the weather's in the 60's here all this week so that means this album will go on repeat again.

JEW is the quintessential fall band.

Listening right now. The basslines on this album make me feel warm on the inside.

I still almost a year later can't get over the title track. They have almost a Sigur Ros moment in that song. God this record is so good

I still come back to songs on this album all the time. One of their best.

I spun it this afternoon. Still one of my favorites of theirs. They have such a strong catalog. One of the only "newer" bands that I feel has passed the "five albums test" that Steven Hyden talked about on his podcast this week.

First side of this is one of the strongest stretches of songs in this band's discography, which is saying something.

I would argue the second half might even be stronger and that's saying something because the first half is special

I like the first track stretch to the final track.

    It’s good.

Big disagree from me, since I really don't care for tracks 7 and 8, and 2-5 are all pretty close to top 10 JEW songs

You don't care for "The End Is Beautiful"?! I can't even comprehend that

The verses are good actually but I realllllly don't like the chorus, sadly.

Final 3 are god tier and another level.

I gotta revisit this. I was thibking about listening to it earlier. Not sure why I passed up. Probably for The National haha. But this album has firmly been my second favorite from this band since it came out. Really came at a critical point in my life and felt like such a warm embrace. Means a lot to me.

I create content for some of your favorite artists

listened to this for the first time in a while this evening and it absolute crushed me after the year I've had

And I know when you feel trapped

"Pol Roger" has become a top 3 JEW closer for me, behind "Dizzy" and "23". Amazing song.

It's way up there, and definitely one of their most fitting closers

Me too, which says a lot because I love Mixtape, My Sundown and Goodbye Sky Harbor.
