Haven't watched yet, but I also strongly dislike Trevor Noah.

Whaaaaaa? Strongly dislike? He's amazing. Someone needs to read "Born a Crime" or listen to the audiobook.

I really wish I'd thought of Blade instead of Twilight. Props to the guy who made the Blade tweet.

  6. Yeah I wish I had too but alas we were the age that we were when Twilight first came around

Does Tupelo remind anybody of "Take It Easy"?

    .

Not specifically but it does have a bit of that laid-back '70's California sound going on.

  9. Yeah maybe, if The Eagles were capable of writing a song that didn't massively suck!

Radio station I work at got a nice promo of the solo acoustic last night. It's super tasty.

Also, I love Cumberland but something about the mix sounds horrible. It sounds like something was accidentally left on in the background. No one else gets that? The first time I listened, I thought I had another tab open with a song that started playing. Too many layers clashing. And it's a shame because it's otherwise a super awesome song.

Grief is only love that’s got no place to go Supporter

After multiple listens I think "White Man's World" might be my least favorite song on this. I'm not one of the idiots that says Isbell turned his back on white people or whatever the hell they said, but the song just doesn't do a lot for me.

Jackson Browne wrote that song so, you know, f* you.

  13. Yeah I don't like Jackson Browne either lol. I fully expect to be castigated for those remarks, I know that's not a popular take

I'm not a huge Jackson Browne fan at all but "These Days" is one of the best songs ever written

Next you'll be saying you don't like James Taylor smh

  20. I don't really but my mom and aunt both love him and used to play a greatest hits collection a lot when I was very young so he gets a pass via nostalgia for me.

    .

    Dawes are alright.

I like the Eagles--Hotel California and One of These Nights are as imprinted on my DNA as anything.

Jackson Browne transcends most of those monotonous sensitive-soul '70's songwriters (i.e. James Taylor--sorry, zmtr!) for me by just being a damn good writer. I love Late for the Sky, especially.

Sweet Baby James is one of my all time favorite albums. Don't really "love" anything beyond that.
