Seems ridiculous to say but it’s already one of my favorite Japandroids songs—if this is indicative of the writing on the rest of the album this is gonna be extremely special. and good GOD it sounds incredible too. “oh what if we took what’s already one of the biggest guitar sounds you’ve ever heard and made it bigger and also made the drums sound 10x better.” just insane stuff
