They don't even bother to aim for military targets - shows you how truly incompetent this Russian military is

Yeah, I don't fully buy into the whole genocide argument yet (we'll know a lot more if/when Mariupol and the filtration camps are liberated) but probably the best argument that this is in fact a genocide is that the Russian side really seems to be going out of their way to waste their artillery on meaningless targets from a military perspective. I suppose they really could just be that incompetent, but it also seems like their going out of their way to cause terror even to the detriment of their military success

But they should know that this "lets cause terror" method isn't working; its only making the Ukrainians/the West stronger in their resolve to fight back. It's only making locals angrier and angrier at the Russians, while the Western weapons (which they are not aiming at) continuously destroy vast amounts of Russian orcs and weapons on the battlefield

The fact that the missile strikes were timed during rush hour is very telling. This type of escalation in violence is why Putin brought in Sergey Surovikin.

These types of attacks could be the results that finally push the US to send the ATACMS for the HIMARS

If I could just forget it

I highly doubt no military/intelligence targets were hit.

From all the reading I've been doing today, nobody has mentioned one, but if you do hear of one I'm all ears. Regardless, the vast majority of targets were purely civilian in nature, showing us that today's attacks were meant solely to strike fear in civilians

I think they are meant to break the will of the Ukrainian leadership, which is why many of the targets were Ukrainian infrastructure . Honestly it's a wonder the Russians waited this long to do something like that. If it was the US it would have been day 1.

Again, with any wartime propaganda the truth usually lies somewhere in the middle.

If the Russians were actually aiming for targets that had military or logistical or intelligence significance then almost all of the missiles missed. Either they are really bad at this, or the targets were purely civilian in nature. Doesn't really matter which excuse the apologists go with right now, functionally. The response is the same either way.

Or, the Ukrainians benefit from claiming the missiles didn't strike anything of significance. I would expect the Russians to do the same thing.

I'm 99.999999% certain that Ukraine would have mentioned it today, or the numerous news outlets, that a military target was hit today, if one was truly hit.

What makes you so certain? I wouldn't rush to announce that my intelligence services had been obliterated if that was the case. It would be in my interest to paint the scenario exactly as western media outlets have.
