Same. I just feel as if this franchise lives and breathes on Ford’s charisma. It’s the only reason anyone is slightly interested in another Indy.

I’d be down to see Phoebe take on the role of an archeologist that fights Nazis or Russians, though.

 

I want Phoebe to keep writing and making her own funny/heartbreaking stuff, not wasting time in a declining franchise

 

I want Phoebe to do whatever Phoebe wants to do with her own career

 

I just want her to be happy.

 

As long as she’s having fun

 

Either way, I trust Mangold. If Phoebe receives the passing of the torch then I’m sure it will be a smooth transition.

 

The sheer amount of toxicity and gross shit that would transpire would make me think that basically any actor should turn the idea of becoming the new Indy down

Are still images of Romans really that weird of a thing to be seeing in a film series that has featured interdimensional beings and a knight who has been kept alive for a millennia because of a cup?

 

Also...all of what happened in Temple of Doom haha.

 

Looks wild as hell, I am in.

 

Looking forward to seeing how this turned out, I think Mangold was a good choice once Spielberg decided not to do it.

If it’s not the date, I would bet it’ll be because of a Covid delay and not because of the movie itself. Mangold just tweeted they were in post-production earlier this month.
