Super interesting, I wonder if it's the same situation where their masters were sold and they don't own anything or if this is a creative new version type

 

I know they had to sue Sony a long time ago to get out of their deal. Don’t know why they’d specifically go for just “Morning View.”

 

Chances of the re-recording sounding better than the original are pretty much nonexistent.

If it’s indeed a masters issue then get your money guys but I don’t see this recapturing the magic that was made 22 years ago.

 

I would be into a completely re imagined version of the album out of curiosity, because I still do like the band and their current sound, but I wouldn't expect it to be better, just different. Doing a Taylor's Version type recording, I'll listen once then never again

 

I mean, it's their biggest album, so it makes sense from that standpoint.

 

Just saw them live again with their new bassist, and wow, she has definitely changed the entire energy
of the band. You could see they loved being there and were joking and having fun the entire time.
Hope she becomes a full time member

 

Isn't Kenney just out because he's recuperating? I assume he'd be returning eventually.

 

Yeah, he had brain surgery.

 

Hate to hear that and hope he is ok.

Just felt like a complete different vibe with them. They always put on a great show but haven't seen them smile that much in a LONG TIME

 

Remember when they performed Morning View on livestream a couple years ago and none of them looked like they wanted to be there? That was weird.

 

She’s the same bassist that toured with Panic At The Disco. She rules

 

Brandon will appear on the upcoming Night Verses album, well Part 2 of it which is supposed to come out early next year

 

Saw them at the beginning of the month and can confirm that the touring bassist, Nicole, was awesome. They sounded really good, but the set wasn't all that different from last summer. I'd love to see a tour focus more heavily on A Crow Left of the Murder at some point.

 

Tal Wilkenfeld. She fucking rips. She's played with, like, Jeff Beck and Prince and the like.

 

Is it Tal or Nicole who is performing with them currently? I know both of them have played shows with Incubus in the past year. Hoping Kenney makes a quick recovery!

 

Oh, I was mistaken. It is Nicole Row playing with them now. I must have seen an older rig rundown on instagram.

Only one I agree with is Crow at number 1.

 

Yeah it's their best and my favorite, as well.

 

Crow is absolutely my #1 as well. I also like Light Grenades waaaaay more than that person.

 

S.C.I.E.N.C.E. Was the first one I fell in love with, but I think Make Yourself is my #1 nowadays.

 

Crow absolutely should be number one. It’s their masterpiece as far as I’m concerned.
