Honestly so scared of that kind of thing happening to my brother and his partner, they're really into rock climbing. Or mostly bouldering? At least that's much closer to the ground.

Watching Free Solo and hearing Alex Honnold talk about how a number of his friends are now dead due to falling to their death makes me never want to do that sort of thing or anything with large falling jumps/things where you fall you die.

 

We lost a good friend to a rock climbing accident. Left behind a wife and two kids.

Put me off the sport forever.

 

I'm honestly so glad I'm not into adrenaline sports and stuff. Almost zero percent chance of anything like that happening to me. I wanna join a rock climbing gym and even that I'm kind a scared of lol
