So listening to that Conan podcast, Andy Ricter speaks about Norm's roast of Bob Sagat; apparently the producers of the roast asked Norm to really go at Bob, with hard hitting jokes, and Norm took affront to that and flipped the script and intentionally made the softest dad jokes he could, just because; kinda like a "you're not going to tell me what to do" type of mentality, hahahaha

 

I revisited his Hitler's Dog special last night and it's so good.

I’ll always remember him as the assistant manager on Boy Meets World. Just had me rolling on the floor both as a kid and an adult in such a little role.

 

Damn. Made some of the great music in his films too. Plus did this awesome album with The Heliocentrics too…

Jay Sandrich died. Directed 100 episodes of The Cosby Show, 119 of The Mary Tyler Moore Show, 54 episodes of Soap and the pilot for The Golden Girls. Besides James Burrows he may be the man most responsible for what we think of as the style of the sitcom.

 

Just watched Belladonna of Sadness for the first time this past summer. What an absolutely wild piece of art.
