Fuck. He might’ve been the first rapper I ever felt actually “cool” for liking. Can’t say I’ve heard a thing he’d done in like at least 15 years, but this is definitely grounds for putting him on this weekend. RIP

 

IGOR is definitely my favorite thing from Tyler, hands down. Mostly because I just really like the musical style of the album more than his more rap-based usual stuff. New album's pretty solid but I don't get the WOW factor I did from IGOR. I think this one and Flower Boy are the same level for me, solid stuff but not as great as IGOR

 

R.I.P. Gift of Gab. An underrated legend.

two new Travis Scott songs were played at his fashion show. One with James Blake and Westside Gunn and another solo song.

I think one song is at 3 minutes and the next at 9 minutes.

Outside of the obvious ones (Tyler, Frank, Earl) I'd say Domo Genesis is worth checking out. His mixtape No Idols is one of my favorite OF releases, it's entirely produced by The Alchemist and has amazing features (Earl, Vince, Action Bronson, Freddie Gibbs, Prodigy, Tyler, Smoke DZA). Don't think it's on streaming though unfortunately

 

I'm becoming a legit fan of both of the Smith kids' music and I'm not even embarrassed anymore
