Got some friends who've convinced me to go with them for Day 3. Honestly not familiar with any of the names after the first line, anyone got recommendations I should check out?

Yeah, Maxo Kream is the big one that stands out to me. Lil Keed and Young Nudy if you’re into that Atlanta trap sound. I know a lot of people are into Sada Baby but none of his stuff has stuck for me.

  6. Maxo Kream is definitely the only non-top line one I know. Don’t really love his stuff but it’s enjoyable enough and I’d catch him live if I had nothing else going on anyway

I've seen Maxo live and he was a ton of fun.

Thanks all for the suggestions. I liked the couple of Maxo songs I played. Also really liking Sleepy Hallow and Smoke DZA.

Checking out new Polo G later. His last two albums are great so hopefully he can keep it up.

    hey you lil piss baby

Surprised how good/consistent the Polo record is. Kind of thought he was gonna lose me with this one. Didn’t love the singles other than “GNF”, bloated tracklist and features had me a bit worried too. I also didn’t love The GOAT compared to his debut, which is probably in my top 5-10 hip hop records from the last five years. But this one is quite good and on a song-for-song basis, I might like it more than his last.

Morray tape was okay. Nothing captured me like Quicksand but it was enjoyable

How Music Producer TnTXD Is Making a Career Selling Type Beats

This is a willlld interview from last year with TNT. YoungBoy NBA and Rod Wave just buy his beats off youtube lol. In it (April 2020) he says he just spoke to Rod Wave for the first time 3 weeks before.

    EDIT:
Wait...the producers of "Ribbon in the Sky" and "Thief in the Night" are also "Type Beat" producers. Is the whole tape just taken from Youtube producers? That's crazy.

Migos is definitely less all over the place than Culture 2 was. Still hella long (19 tracks) but a lot more quality than trash imo
