I'm not doubting batching together Khaled's best songs would be fire (or I suppose "a stone cold classic") but I'm pretty sure you can do this with A LOT of artists... too bad it's all hypothetical and most of Khaled's actual albums only have 2-3 worthwhile tracks each lol

 

Does that matter though? Isn’t he a current incarnation of the classic rap singles artists? The album doesn’t matter, those few bangers that come out every summer do. Nobody really cares about 2 Live Crew albums (inb4 As Nasty As They Wanna fans - I know, I’m one of you), but their hits are undeniable. I see Khaled in that tradition.

Don’t think I’ve listened to a DJ Khaled album since like 2010 lol. Way more misses than hits.

 

his hits lately haven’t been hitting as hard as the earlier stuff for me tbh

 

That Nipsey one was big for me, but sure he probably peaked a while back

 

This is what I mean. The hits he tries to push are rarely actual hits.

The Alchemist tape is great, wish it was longer but having the instrumentals added on is nice

I’m listening to Fat Joe interview Katt Williams. It’s a disaster. I love it.

 

That new DJ Khaled album was a hot mess. A few good verses, but no stand out tracks and some real duds.
