Speaking of late 90s Bad Boy Records, I actually really liked the Forever album when it came out and thought it was pretty underrated. That said, I haven’t listened to it in probably 10-15 years so have no idea if it holds up.

Yeah there’s good stuff on there. Almost all Bad Boy releases have good stuff on them.

I actually dove into Diddy's albums recently for the first time, and while they're all pretty fun with some standouts, No Way Out is pretty great the whole time

Is that Craig Mack record any good? “Flava in ya Ear” is obviously a classic but is there anything to it other than more Easy Mo Bee?

Flava is definitely the best highlight.

  9. Damn, just saw the news about Black Rob. Listened to "24 Hours to Live" several time when going through DMX cuts a few wks ago. Absolutely fucked that they're both gone now (no disrespect to the very-much-still-alive Mase)

I honestly don't think I ever listened to Press Play, but yeah, No Way Out is pretty much a classic, in my opinion. As stated earlier, I think Forever was wildly underrated when it came out and The Saga Continues, although pretty much a straight-up compilation album, has some really good cuts on it as well. Black Rob was all over Saga, and those are some of the best songs on the album (especially the Intro).

Just did a quick run through of Forever and The Saga Continues and still really dig these cuts:

    Forever
    What You Want
    Satisfy You (sans R. Kelly)
Is This The End Part 2
    I Hear Voices
Angels with Dirty Faces (likely my favorite on the album)
    Pain
    Reverse
    Journey Through the Life

    Saga
    Intro
    Bad Boy for Life
    That's Crazy
    Let's Get It
    Roll With Me
    Child of the Ghetto
    Lonely
    The Last Song

A lot of filler on both albums.

I wasn't a big fan of Press Play but it probably has some decent tracks. I haven't listened to Last Train In Paris in forever, but I think there was good stuff on there too. That single with Biggie at least was cool.

There's a lot of great overlooked stuff on the Junior M.A.F.I.A. albums too
