Not huge on hip hop apart from Public enemy but I love bands that mixed rock or metal with it like RATM. We did a rock version and kept the hip hop of jump around if you get the minutes to listen :

Whilst everyone will rightly remember Madvillainy coming out on this date, this isn’t far behind in quality.

I’m always jealous of people listening to music that I love for the first time. So many albums I wish I could listen to for the first time again.

loved it. figured I would since I'd heard some of their more popular stuff and liked it, but it's really great as a full album listen. not super familiar with a lot of jazzier rap stuff but this was dope, sounded very unique and honestly a lot more fun than I'd expect. really excited to dig through their other albums next

    Just a friendly reminder

El is exactly what who I was hoping for after the fantastic first season with Prince Paul. I'm so excited.

Forget The Next Episode, that’s Nate’s best song.

Yesterday were the anniversaries (is this proper English?) of Diplomatic Immunity and Life After Death. Both double albums, both quasi-religious experiences.

    Top five rap double albums:

    Biggie - Life After Death
    The Diplomats - Diplomatic Immunity
Tupac - All Eyez On Me
DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince - He's The DJ, I'm The Rapper
    UGK - Underground Kingz

Speakerboxxx/The Love Below is a faux double album so don't even start with me Outkast stans.

I’m not an expert but Big Bear - Doin Thangs, which is mostly known for its crazy cover, is actually a good album
