You seem to like plenty of current stuff that comes from that lineage. You should at least listen to them actually rapping once lol

 

I know i'm gonna sound like a broken record, but it's that mid noughties production style again haha. I don't know what it is, it's just like nails on a chalkboard at times.

 

That Boyz in Da Hood album was baaaad. I remember I bought it when it came out and listened to it like three times.

 

Looks like Armani Caeser’s album got pushed back due to the death of DJ Shay. Was supposed to be out today.

Definitely will. I've had it in my library for a while and I've heard tracks but never the full thing. I have heard Keed Talk to Em though.

 

After watching the DMX/Snoop verses last week, I’ve been an a bit of a DMX tip. Listening to Flesh of my Flesh... and wondered if any other albums that reached number one on the Billboard charts have ever lyrics like “my dick is red because I fucked a corpse”. Last time I checked, lyrics about necrophilia isn’t all the common these days haha

OK I am extremely impressed with the new Duckwrth album. I've always liked his stuff, but this feels like THE album from him. I urge everyone to give a listen.

 

this album is just super FUN. It gives vibes of early Theophilus London, Chance's more upbeat dancey type of tracks, just a really well crafted vibey summer album, I expect to give this many spins
