I did not know the album was about to come out, I somehow missed that. I have to check it out today.

EDIT: I'm five tracks in and I like it a lot so far. Track #5 uses the same sample as "On Fire Tonight" by Cam'ron.

I have listened to the whole Common album now and it's really good. There are only two track that aren't really doing it for me. I'll have more to say about it once I gathered my thoughts.

Doris is essential. IDLS, IDGO is his greatest realized work but I think probably works best with context of his former works.

Doris first then IDLS IDGO for sure. Hes got an excellent flow

 

His first tape has some good stuff on it but yeah there's a lot of songs where you can tell he's a teenager trying to be edgy

 

I love both IDLS And Doris to death, but I think I've only ever listened to his first tape all the way through once... It's just not for me.
