This seems to be the consensus though I still prefer the last one. The first two tracks and the two with Gates are especially good.

Getting round to listening to the new Royce Da 5'9" album. It's pretty great.

EDIT: the casual homophobia on it can be grating, though. Had to turn off Upside Down because those opening lyrics are fucking horrible.

 

PARTYMOBILE is dope, guys...whole album is a vibe!!

 

Yeah that and the antivax stuff really sours an otherwise fantastic album for me, the production, guests and a lot of Royce's other verses are great

Just bumping to say Step Brothers 3 is still real good.

 

@ComedownMachine has been telling me I need to listen to Outkast's discography so today I am taking the time to listen to as much as I can while I deep clean my apartment.

 

I just finished Southernplayalisticadelicmuzik and I thought it was a decent album with some stand out songs but I am more excited for the next few albums.

 

The next three are some of the best rap albums ever made IMO.

 

I am about 6 songs into ATLiens and this already feels more engaging for me than the first album.

It is also interesting to hear the song ATLiens and how Vince Staples used Andre's verse in a really different ready on his sample of it.

 

Aquemini is my fav outkast album

 

Gotta admit, I only start LOVEing them at Stankonia, before that it's enjoyable but I'm not wowed

 

13th Floor / Growing Old is a fantastic song wow. They definitely take it to the next level with this album and Andre starts to shine even more. It was a really good album.

It is now on to Aquemini.

 

Kenny Beats has the best twitch streams very informative

 

Keep sharing opinions please, Outkast is one of my favorite groups ever and Andre 3000 is my pick for GOAT rapper

 

I was gonna make Andre’s Source Awards speech the “dedication” part of my master’s thesis but I chickened out

How could one be anything but wowed at Aquemini (the track), Da Art of Storytelling, or Liberation???
