DaBaby album is a lot better than I was expecting, wasn't too huge on Baby On Baby but I really liked this one

 

First time getting into both J Dilla, and J-Live

How did you get to J-Live?

 

Someone posted that article of best hip hop albums of all time a few months back. I added him to my list, and just now getting to him

 

Oh nice. That was me. People were shitting on the list but I new it had some value, haha.

 

I remember people were mentioning how Jedi Mind Tricks was all over it, but other than that I thought people agreed with a lot of the entries. I’ve also never listened to JMT

 

Keep it that way lol

I still need to get around to the new Common album

Is it better than the last one? I liked Nobody's Smiling a lot but I couldn't get into Black America Again at all

 

definitely better than the last one (although it still didn’t have much replay value for me)

 

I honestly don't think Common will ever get back to the quality of his run from Resurrection to Finding Forever for me (especially Be) but that's a hell of a run so I'm not too upset about it

 

It’s very different, it’s almost a Jazz album. Musically it’s the best since Be.

 

Also last year's August Greene album was amazing @tdlyon

 

yeah that August Green album is my fav from him in a while

 

Oh wait I think I actually did listen to the August Green album... clearly it didn't leave much of an impression on me lol, I'll go back to it
