My friends are all old/won't go out on weeknights/aren't into the bands I am. If I never went to shows alone, I'd miss a lot. It's awkward at first but I promise you that no one is noticing you, and when you're alone you have the freedom to come and go as you please, and go up front or chill in the back if you choose. Plus I've met lots of cool people. I whole heartedly advocate for more people to not be afraid to do things alone.

 

New Kevin Gates record is good too

 

It's my favorite thing he's put out since Islah, though I'm not quite convinced it's as good as that one (which is definitely one of my hip-hop records of the decade).

Finally! Easily one of my favourite hip hop albums of all time.

 

The Spirit of Apollo is a fantastic album that I’m rediscovering after 10 years of not listening to it. I recommend it.

I don't know if I'd go that far lol but I love The Autobiography and There's A Lot Going On, it's a shame how calling out X basically destroyed his career
