Drogas is really good, I finally listened today

 

I lied listened to a few songs from carter v and I’m good on listening to the rest.

 

DROGAS is definitely Lupe’s best work since The Cool.

 

I'll listen to DROGAS in time, but Carter V I'll probably listen to today. I've just never really clicked with Lupe but Wayne was a staple in high school/college.

 

Right now I'd tie it with T&Y as his third best album, but I can definitely see myself enjoying this more than T&Y when it's all said and done.

T&Y is seriously great. But I think this will top it for me. Still really early tho

 

Saba is so good. Really glad he's finally getting some recognition.

 

I think the Black Milk album got a little lost in the shuffle but I just went back to it and it’s truely incredible. The production especially is so beautiful. I feel like it’s more of a fall album anyway so I’m happy I’ve rediscovered it now.

That was a crazy day in a crazy year

 

Hard Knock Life was the only one I got at the time, didn’t get into the rest until long after. I remember buying it at what I think was a Sam Goody or something like that in an airport in Philadelphia whilst waiting for a flight back to the UK after visiting family. It was a clean version too, which was alien to me! I only knew HKL, but I had dollars I needed to spend and 15 year old me was discovering hip hop, so seemed like a good idea. It wasnt perfect, but it’s still bloody great.

 

Black Star and Aquemini could be easily argued into the top 10 of all time. Imagine listening to those albums back-to-back for the first time on the day they came out

Some cool ones in here, they missed the occasional album though.

 

A Little Brother reunion album is something I don’t even dare to dream about. I would be so happy.

 

Spotify recommended this Nick Grant album to me and I don’t really know all that much about him but if you like Fabolous album cuts from the 00s then there’s some cool songs on there
